The Gabare Tower of Ketawang Beach
Maybe
many people didn’t know that Purworejo had a history gabare. It was located at
Ketawang beach. Ketawang beach was located at Ketawangrejo village, Grabag,
Purworejo. If cross Java’s south strip especially Purworejo regency, not complete
if don’t visit to Ketawang beach. The difference of ketawang beach and other
beach is Ketawang had a gabare tower so the visitors can feel satisfied to see a
beautiful beach in Indonesia that constitute a part of Indian Ocean.
The
gabare was located in the middle of swamps that became fishponds and the land for
farm. The gabare is high and have many windows. The colour of the wall is
white. Every visitors can climb the top of the tower. Indoor there are many laddersteps
that will be climbed. A good time to
visit is in the evening. Visitors can look the sunset from the top of
the tower. The tired feeling climbed laddersteps will be changed with look the
scenery from the top of gabare.
